In 2012 he put out his first album, 'Rasgando a Alma.' The song that really connected with people came later, in 2016, with 'Vou Beber Pra Esquecer.' That track's straightforward lyrics about drinking to forget a lost love seemed to find a wide audience in Brazil. He followed it with other singles like 'Eu Me Remexo Muito' and 'Furduncio.'
He records and performs as a solo artist, usually with a changing group of musicians backing him up. His later albums include 'Entre o Abismo e a Luz' from 2018 and 'Resiliência' from 2021.
