Archive material and source history
Felipe Rotta is a Brazilian musician who came up in São Paulo. His early work drew from samba, jazz, and bossa nova, and he first gained wider attention in the early 2000s with his debut album, 'Mundo.' The title track from that record became a popular song.
In 2005, there were some public allegations that a portion of 'Mundo' had been plagiarized from another artist. Rotta denied this. Despite that episode, he continued to tour and release music.
Another of his well-known songs is 'Você É Tudo Que Eu Sempre Quis.'
