Felipe Valderrama

Felipe Valderrama formed the band Belezas Naturais in 2001, drawing from the rhythms of Salvador, Bahia where he grew up. Their debut album 'Bahia de Todos os Santos' brought them national attention, followed by records like 'Zabumba' and 'Tropicalista'. Songs like 'Belezas Naturais' and 'Brasil É o País do Futebol' reflect their mix of Afro-Brazilian percussion with pop arrangements.

Over time, the band's lineup has included musicians like guitarist Bruno Travassos, bassist Davi Moura, and percussionist Carlinhos Brown, with vocalist Mariene de Castro also appearing. Valderrama has remained the consistent presence through these changes. Their music reached international stages through festival appearances in Europe, North America, and Asia.
