Felipe Zurk

Felipe Zurk formed in Madrid around 2010 with vocalist Zurk, guitarist Katia, bassist Lorien, and drummer Niko. Their first album, also called "Sintonía," came out in 2012. That song became their most recognizable track, along with others like "Apaixonado por você" and "Bilhete."

Their music tends toward atmospheric rock with some post-punk textures, though they've never been easy to categorize. After "Sintonía," they put out "Interludio" in 2014 and "Ecos" in 2017, each record shifting the mood a bit without losing that hazy, introspective quality.

Some listeners found their sound too cryptic or distant, while others appreciated that same refusal to explain everything. They kept a fairly low profile outside their records, which suited the music, songs like "Não tente me entender" and "Isso se chama amor" work better when they're not over-explained.
