Felixbravo formed in Bahia, Brazil around 2008, with Felipe on vocals and guitar, Bravo on drums, and Barro on percussion. Their sound pulls from samba, axé, and forró, mixed with electronic beats. Their debut album was called 'Bahia Eletrônica,' and they've put out a couple more since, including one simply titled 'Brincante.'
Their song 'Brincante' got some attention, though there were questions in 2013 about whether parts of it resembled an older folk tune. That didn't stop it from becoming one of their better-known tracks, along with 'Mala de Sonhos' and 'Arteiro.' They've worked with other musicians too, like Caetano Veloso.
What you hear in their music is mostly that blend of Brazilian rhythms with electronic production. It's not exactly traditional, but it's not straight club music either. They've kept at it for a while now, putting out albums and playing shows without making too much fuss about it.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
