Feras do Baile

Feras do Baile formed in São Paulo in 2015, coming together in the city's favelas. They built their sound through local performances, eventually releasing tracks like 'Pick Up Turbinada' and 'Melo do Corno' that became staples in Brazilian funk circles.

Their music often draws from the realities of favela life, which has led to some criticism about lyrical content. But songs like 'Bom Demais' and 'Tikimdum, Tikimdotro' found an audience anyway, connecting with listeners through straightforward funk rhythms and direct vocal delivery.

The group includes vocalists Tiaguinho MT and Neguinho do Kaxeta, with DJ Will 22, DJ Gueri, and DJ Hum handling turntables. Rodriguinho do Cavaco plays cavaquinho while Nando do Cavaco provides guitar work, giving their tracks a live instrumental foundation beneath the electronic production.

They've put out albums including 'Favela Vive' and 'Favela Não Se Cala,' and have worked with artists like Anitta and Pabllo Vittar. Their shows maintain a local focus, keeping the energy grounded in the neighborhoods where they started.
