Fernando Balarini is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from São Paulo who released his debut album in 2007. That album was titled after its lead track, 'Se Você Soubesse o Quanto Eu Gosto de Você,' which became a hit in Brazil. He has since put out several more albums, including Tudo de Novo in 2010, Pra Você in 2013, and Na Estrada in 2016.
His songs often deal with love and relationships, with titles like 'Amora mulher do Amor' and 'Amando, amando, amando' reflecting that focus. Other tracks, such as 'A estrada e o asfalto' and 'A Beleza da Leveza,' suggest a more reflective or observational side to his writing. He performs with a band that includes guitarist André Gomes, bassist Felipe Matheus, and drummer Thiago Prado.
In 2010, Balarini faced some public attention over plagiarism allegations concerning one of his songs. The matter was eventually dismissed, but it was a notable episode during that period of his work.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
