Fernando Bento is a Brazilian singer from Salvador who started singing in church choirs. His 2017 debut album included the track "Papel de Atriz," which became his breakout song and brought him wider attention.
He followed that with the 2020 album Tempo Suspenso and then Lua Cheia in 2022. Bento works with a regular group of musicians including bassist Pedro Blanco, drummer Marcos Mendes, guitarist Gabriel Lima, and keyboardist Luana Bastos.
Another of his songs, "Se o Amor Chegar," appears among his most popular tracks. His music draws from Brazilian traditions while incorporating contemporary elements.
