Fernando Teles is a Brazilian singer and composer from Ipiaú, Bahia, born in 1962. He started working with guitarist Robson Almeida in the early 1990s, forming a band that released their debut album 'O Som Que Vem da Bahia.'
In 1994, Teles had his biggest hit with 'Chaveirinho,' a samba-inflected song that became popular internationally.
Other songs like 'Só Faltou Amor' and 'Abraço Sem Final' show his continued work in Brazilian popular music styles including samba, baião, and forró. He recorded several studio albums over the following decades.
