Festival Oti

Festival Oti was a Mexican band that formed in the early 2000s, with members Luis Antonio Ruiz, Miguel Ángel Martínez, and Guillermo Sánchez. They found their biggest success with their 2002 debut single, a cover of Lupita D'Alessio's ballad "Como Tú." The song's straightforward arrangement and emotional delivery connected with listeners, helping establish the group in the regional Mexican scene.

They followed that with albums like "Un Milagro" in 2004 and "Sueños de Amor" in 2006. Their recordings often leaned on familiar romantic themes, as heard in songs like "Una Vieja Canción de Amor" and "100 Millones de Locos." The band's sound stayed close to traditional Mexican formats without much experimental detour.

Like many groups, Festival Oti dealt with the ordinary pressures of the music business, tight budgets, crowded playlists, the usual scramble for attention.
