FG Chosen

FG Chosen formed in Salvador, Bahia in 2003, with vocalists Felipe Gomes and Guga Dias, drummer Gabriel Braga, bassist Neds, and percussionist Rick Oliveira making up the core group. They came together through a shared interest in music, drawing from samba and R&B influences.

Their 2014 single "Dessa Vida Não Se Leva Nada" became a breakthrough hit, with its melody and lyrics about material possessions connecting with listeners. Other songs like "Não Perca Sua Fé" and "Confie Em Deus" followed a similar thematic path. They've worked with artists including Ivete Sangalo and Gilberto Gil.

In 2015, the band released the album "Novo Tempo," and "Vai e Vem" came out in 2017. Around that time, there were plagiarism claims regarding "Dessa Vida Não Se Leva Nada," though these were later dismissed.
