Ficci formed when Ethan Kroll and Jacob Martin met and started playing together, later adding drummer Sarah Jones. They worked out their material playing small clubs before releasing their debut album 'Echoes of the Mind.' Their song 'Senses Overload' became their breakout track, pulling listeners in with its layered sound and introspective lyrics.

That song's success gave them room to explore different directions on their second album, 'Lost in Translation,' which leaned into darker, more experimental territory. Another track like 'Flutter' shows their ability to balance atmospheric melodies with grounded songwriting.
