Fifth Reason formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s with Dalton Rapattoni on vocals and guitar, Matt Cantor on lead guitar, Jon Hume on bass, and Andy Langer on drums. They signed with Interscope Records and released their debut album "This is Not the End" in 2006. The single "A Final Wish" from that album reached the top of the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
Hume and Langer left the band in 2010, and the remaining members continued as a trio. They faced legal disputes with their label around that time. In 2013, Rapattoni was arrested on drug possession charges, which led to a hiatus for the group.
Fifth Reason reunited in 2017 and released their third album, "The Light We Found." Their catalog includes songs like "A Shadow Remains," "Below And Beyond Above," "Day's Undone," and "In Between."
