Fight Like Lions formed in Jacksonville, Florida around 2008, starting as a duo with guitarist Josh Scoggins and drummer James Ryan. They were joined by bassist Scott Stice and guitarist Cameron Johnson, though Johnson left in 2010 and was replaced by Rich Taylor. The band took a hiatus in 2011 but returned in 2013 to release their debut EP, 'The Journey from the Ground.'
They followed that with two studio albums, 'The Last Thing You Wanted to Hear' in 2014 and 'The Edge of the World' in 2017. In 2019, they released 'Back to the Future,' which became their most recognizable song. Other tracks like 'Bottle Rocket' and 'Well, Well, Well' round out their catalog.
The lineup has remained Josh Scoggins on vocals and guitar, Scott Stice on bass, James Ryan on drums, and Rich Taylor on guitar since his addition.
