The Figueroas were a band formed in the late 1990s by brothers Ethan and Aiden Figueroa. Ethan handled vocals while Aiden played guitar. They were joined by bassist Marcus Reed and drummer David Cross. Their sound leaned toward alternative rock with what some described as haunting harmonies.
Their debut single "Bangladesh" became their breakthrough track. It helped establish them in the alternative scene and led to festival appearances.
They released their first album "Seraphina" in 2002. The band's catalog also includes songs like "Gatinha Gatinha" and "Lambada Quente."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
