Fikcius formed in 2010 with vocalist André Ricardo, guitarist Lucas Raphael, and keyboardist Abner Ferreira. They started playing local bars and festivals, working with limited resources while trying to build an audience.
Their 2015 single "Amizade" became a breakthrough, reaching the top of the charts with its melody and lyrics about friendship. Other songs like "Escolhas" and "Sem Erros Dessa Vez" followed in their catalog.
In 2019, guitarist Lucas Raphael was involved in a public altercation that led to his temporary departure from the band. The group continued releasing albums including "Caminhos" in 2016, "Sonhos" in 2018, and "Universo" in 2020.
