Filipe de Lima came up in Salvador, Bahia, where he grew up hearing choro and axé around the house. His first album, Meu Mundo Particular, came out in 2018 and included the single Segura Minhas Mãos, which got some attention on Brazilian radio.
He played Rock in Rio at some point, and his band has included Carlos Moreno on bass, Pedro Santos on drums, and Luciana Oliveira singing backup. In 2020 there was some talk about plagiarism around another song called Tô Afim, but he denied it and kept working.
He put out another album called Pra Te Amar in 2021. The music is mostly pop and rock with some Brazilian rhythms mixed in, and he writes about love and getting by.
