Final Command formed in Los Angeles in the late 1990s with vocalist Jamey Jasta, guitarist Andy Sneap, bassist Alex Marquez, and drummer Mike Incaprera. They put out their first album, 'Invictus,' in 1999. The band toured heavily in those early years, playing shows with acts like Slayer and Metallica.
Their second album, 'Jagged Alliance,' came out in 2002 and included the song 'Lose All Control.' That track got some attention and helped them reach a wider audience. They kept making records after that, including 'The Hellbound Overture' in 2004 and 'Assault and Battery' in 2007.
The lineup changed over time. Andy Sneap left in 2005 and was replaced by Christopher Amott. Alex Marquez departed in 2013, with Chris Steele taking over on bass. Through those changes, Jasta and Incaprera remained, and the band continued to play live and record material like 2012's 'The Dark Crusade.'
