Fionn Regan

Fionn Regan is an Irish singer-songwriter from Bray, born in 1981. His music draws from Irish folk traditions and the somber styles of artists like Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, and Leonard Cohen that he discovered early on.

His 2006 debut album 'The End of History' introduced his blend of folk and alt-rock. The lead single 'Dogwood Blossom' became a standout track with its bittersweet lyrics and mournful melody. Another song, 'Be Good Or Be Gone,' was involved in a 2010 legal dispute over a sample, though Regan continued working afterward.

Regan has released four studio albums including 'The Shadow of an Empire,' '100 Acres of Sycamore,' and 'The Meetings of the Waters.' He has collaborated with artists like Bon Iver, Glen Hansard, and Lisa Hannigan. His songs often explore themes of love and loss with a hushed, intimate quality.
