Fire started in 1975 with Sammy Hagar, George Tripson, and Philip Chen. Their first album, 'Fire,' came out that same year. They followed it with 'No Way Out' in 1977, which had the title track that got some attention.
Philip Chen left the band in 1978. They kept putting out records through the early 80s, including 'Don't Cry' and 'The Unknown.' Vinny Appice joined on drums in 1986.
In 1989, Fire released 'Believe,' which became their biggest hit. They also had songs like 'Jesus Freak' and 'V8 Jesus' around that time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
