Firehorse formed in 2003 with Alex Banayan on vocals and guitar, Armen Terziyan on bass, Matt Michel on drums, and Jay McMillan on keyboards. Their debut album 'Infinite Futures' came out in 2005, and their song 'If You Don't Want To Be Alone' became a breakout single around that time.
In 2007, the band got tied up in a legal dispute with their record label over their second album, which led to a brief hiatus. They eventually released 'The Invisible Line' in 2009, followed by 'Blue' in 2012 and 'The Sun Also Rises' in 2015.
Matt Michel left the band in 2017, with Kyle Crane taking over on drums. Other songs in their catalog include 'Our Hearts' and 'She's a River'.
