Their lineup included Joey Balin on vocals, Jimmy James on lead guitar, Merrick Ward on rhythm guitar, Andy Reilly on bass, and Ritchie Ranno on drums. They released four albums between 1985 and 1991, starting with 'Shuttered Room' and ending with 'Fade to Black'.
Their 1986 album 'Reach for the Sky' featured the song 'Beat It,' which became their best-known track. Other songs in their catalog include 'Don't Tell Me,' 'Let's Live a Little,' and 'Song For You.'
The band's music combined melodic rock with pop elements, but they faced some commercial challenges during their career. Their recordings from that period continue to be found by listeners interested in 1980s rock.
