Fix'o9

Fix'o9 was a band that formed in the late 1990s with four members who all shared the Fix surname: vocalist Fix, guitarist Jake Fix, keyboardist Johnny Fix, and drummer Andy Fix. Their name came from their interest in improvisation. They released a debut album called 'The Fix Tapes' that got some attention for combining rock with electronic and experimental sounds.

Their second album, 'The Fix II: Refix,' included a song called 'Jonny the Guy' that became their most recognizable track. The lyrics were cryptic enough that people argued about what they meant. The band's live shows and Fix's stage presence sometimes drew criticism, and there were stories about drug use affecting their work.
