Fizz was a Romanian pop band that formed in the early 2000s. Their song 'Am nevoie' came out in 2003 and became a popular ballad. The group included Ovidiu Lipan Tătaru on vocals, Cristi Dorobanțu on guitar, Adrian Despot on bass, and Marius Mihalache on drums.
They had other songs like 'Royalty' in 2006 and 'Scrisoare de amor' in 2009. In 2007, there was a lawsuit with a former manager that caused some trouble for the band. Around that same time, their album 'Royalty' faced plagiarism allegations.
Fizz kept making music into the 2010s with tracks like 'Lacrimi și trandafiri' in 2012. Their sound worked for Romanian audiences across different age groups.
