Flaira Ferro is a Brazilian band that formed in 2001 around vocalist Letícia Novaes and guitarist Felipe Torres. Bassist Pedro Fróes and drummer Rodrigo Tavares later joined the group. Their music draws from pop, rock, and Brazilian rhythms, with Novaes's vocals and Torres's guitar work as central elements.
In 2006, the single "Me Curar de Mim" became a hit, leading to their debut album "Despertar" in 2007. Other songs like "Faminta" and "Ótima" appear among their most popular tracks. The band has released five studio albums, including "Novas Águas" in 2014 and "Sem Medo" in 2023.
In 2012, Letícia Novaes was diagnosed with breast cancer. The band continued working through that period, with their music often touching on themes of self-reflection and personal experience.
