Flávia Felicio is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Salvador, Bahia. Her music draws from the local sounds of samba, reggae, and axé that surrounded her growing up.
Her work often deals with personal themes, as heard in songs like 'Frases de Mãe' and 'Frio Na Barriga'. She performs with a band that includes Yuri Queiroga on guitar, Fábio Leandro on bass, and Daniel Dourado on drums. In 2016 she put out 'A Luz é Minha', followed by 'Fina' in 2020.
In 2017, Felicio faced plagiarism allegations, which she denied. The experience was difficult but she continued making music. Her writing tends to focus on introspection and emotional landscapes rather than broad social statements.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
