Flemming 'Bamse' Jørgensen was a Danish singer who formed his band Bamse in 1978 with guitarist Flemming Werge and bassist Poul Halberg. They put out their self-titled debut album the following year. His version of 'Always On My Mind' came out in 1982 and became a hit across Europe.
He recorded several albums through the 1980s, including 'Sneakers' in 1980 and 'Selv en dråbe vand' in 1984. He worked with other Danish artists like Anne Linnet. Jørgensen died in 2011.
