Archive material and source history
Fletch was an English indie rock band that formed in 2002 when Mark Fletcher left Supergrass to start his own project. He brought in bassist Simon Mills and drummer Ben Sinclair, and they released their debut album 'Made Your Bed' the following year. That record gave them their first real attention.
Their 2005 follow-up, 'A Distant Shore,' did well with critics and built them a solid live following. Things got complicated after that. Their third album in 2008 didn't land the same way, and Mills left the band in 2009.
The band carried on with a new bassist, Steve Pilgrim, and put out a fourth album called 'The Great Depression.' They also had a song called 'Still Alive' in their catalog. The details after that get thin.
