Flux Zone

Flux Zone formed in the mid-1980s, a time when electronic music was finding new shapes. Their debut single "Machine Hearts" came out in 1986, built around a haunting melody and pulsating rhythms that caught attention. The song became a reference point for a certain kind of futuristic, introspective electronic sound.

They followed with an album called "Mind Control," which continued their exploration of industrial textures and techno structures. The band worked with other artists in that sphere, including Depeche Mode and Front 242. Their music wasn't always easy to categorize, which sometimes made it challenging to find a broad audience, but it built a dedicated following among listeners drawn to its particular atmosphere.

Beyond "Machine Hearts," songs like "The Girl" show the band's range within their chosen palette.
