Fluxo Renal was a Brazilian punk rock band that formed in 1995 in Diadema, São Paulo. Their initial lineup included Tico Santa Cruz on vocals, Marcelo Mendonça on guitar, Alexandre Vendramini on bass, and Cristiano Babu on drums. The band's sound mixed punk with ska and reggae rhythms, creating something energetic and distinct from what else was happening at the time.
In 1999, they released their debut album, also called "Foda-se." The title track became an anthem for many young Brazilians, with its blunt, rebellious lyrics and a melody that stuck in your head. Another song from their catalog, "Oculpe o Lugar," carried a similar confrontational energy.
They released several more albums, including "Geração do Foda-se" in 2000 and "Faixa de Gaza" in 2011, continuing to address social and political themes with their characteristic blunt force.
