Flying Neutrinos

Flying Neutrinos were a rock band that put out 'Mr. Zoot Suit' in 1997. The song became something of an anthem for a certain crowd in the late '90s, though the group's sound was often described as unconventional or experimental. They had a few albums after that, like 'The Einstein Sessions' in 1999 and 'Transmutations' in 2002, before releasing what would be their final record, 'The Final Transmission', in 2005.

Their lineup included a frontman who went by Dr. Z on vocals and guitar, along with members called The Professor on bass and The Alchemist on drums. The band's lyrics sometimes touched on themes of alienation or social unrest, which drew some criticism at the time. They weren't around for very long, but 'Mr. Zoot Suit' stuck around in the memory of that era's underground scene.
