FM Radio formed in the mid-1970s after Stephen Stills left Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He put together a quartet with Donnie Dacus on drums, Joey Kramer on keyboards, and George Perry on bass. Their debut album 'Outside' came out in 1975 and included the song 'Lead Me Home,' which got some radio play at the time.
That first album did reasonably well, but the band had trouble keeping things together. Dacus left in 1976 and was replaced by Rick Rosas. They put out a few more records like 'Second Time Around' in 1977 and 'Caught in the Act' the following year, but nothing really caught on like that first single. By the mid-1980s, they'd stopped recording.
