Folly Rae started in London around 2014 with their debut EP 'Eden.' The band included Alice Merton on vocals, Owen James on guitar, Leon Taylor on bass, and Jake Smith on drums. They followed that EP with an album called 'The Folly Rae' in 2015.
Their song 'Sniper' came from that album and got some attention. The band put out more music after that, including the EP 'Vertigo' in 2017 and another album called 'The Great Escape' in 2019.
