A Bogotá-born singer-songwriter whose guitar-driven romantic pop carries Colombian rhythms.
For a good sense of his sound, try "Ay Amor" or "Quiero encontrarte en mis sueños." They're both pretty representative of his melodic, guitar-driven approach.
Fonseca's 2002 debut single "Te Mando Flores" helped establish him in Latin pop, and his 2005 album "Corazón" brought wider international attention. Songs like "Ay Amor" and "Eres Mi Sueño" show his melodic, romantic style grounded in Colombian rhythms. He writes much of his own material, including lyrics for ballads such as "Quiero encontrarte en mis sueños."
Juan Fernando Fonseca started playing guitar at age ten in Bogotá, Colombia. His debut album came out in 2002, followed by "Corazón" in 2005, and he's kept recording since with albums like "Gratitud" in 2008 and "Conexión" in 2015.
