Archive material and source history
Foreign Fields formed in 2014 when Maeve Kelly and Johnny Borthwick met in a recording studio. They later became a quartet with James Smith on bass and Jack McElvogue on drums. The band released their first EP, 'No Rescues,' in 2015, followed by the album 'In The Shadow of The Sun' in 2016.
Their song 'Don't Give Up' came out in 2019 and found its way into some films and television shows. That same year they put out the album 'In Every Inch of the Earth.' They also released an EP called 'Drones' in 2017.
In 2018, Foreign Fields dealt with a legal dispute involving their record label. They have another track called 'When You Wake Up' among their work.
