The group's sound drew from forró and sertanejo styles. Their lineup included Antônio Marcos on vocals and accordion, Edson Silva on bass, Junior Maceió on guitar, and Fabrício on drums. They released several albums through the late 1990s and early 2000s, including 'Vem Chegar Mais Perto' in 1996 and 'Cair e Levantar' in 2002.
Forró Acoxadin continued performing in later years with a smaller configuration. Their recordings from the mid-1990s remain their most familiar work.
