Forró Arroba

Forró Arroba formed in the late 1990s, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1998. The band's sound works with traditional forró rhythms while incorporating contemporary elements, a direction that drew some criticism from purists but found its own audience. Vocalist and accordionist Cezinha has been a consistent presence alongside guitarist Manassés and bassist Paulinho.

Their song "Tentativas Em Vão" became one of their most recognizable tracks, a ballad about love and loss that connected with listeners. Another popular song, "Vem Me Amar," shows their range within the forró style. The band continued recording albums like "Além do Céu" and the "Tentativas em Vão" album, maintaining a steady output without major lineup shifts.
