Their debut album 'Forró Chapolândia: Ao Vivo' came out in 1997 and included the track 'Perdoa,' which became widely popular.
Chico Chapolândia left the group in 2002, leading to a brief break before Dedé Brasil and other members continued. They've released several albums including 'Nunca Mais Voltou' in 1998 and 'Deixa Eu Te Amar' in 1999.
