Forró do HF formed in 2015 in Campina Grande, Paraíba, when five friends started playing together. They built a local following with their straightforward forró sound before things changed in 2018. That year, they released 'Ela Traiu,' a song about a man's heartbreak that connected with listeners in a way they hadn't before. It became a viral hit in Brazil, pushing the band beyond their regional scene.
After 'Ela Traiu,' they kept recording. Songs like 'Tá Faltando Eu' and 'Um Segundo Sem Você' followed a similar emotional template, dealing with relationships and longing. They put out albums like 'Forró de Verdade' in 2019 and 'Vai Ferver' in 2021. The band's lineup includes Xand Avião on vocals, Bruno Araújo on guitar, Daniel Vieira on bass, Alan Silva on percussion, and Lucas do Vale on keyboards.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
