They released albums including 'Forró do Interior' in 1995, 'Pé de Serra' in 1997, and 'Taquara na Roça' in 2000. In 2018, they put out 'Forró Taquara: 25 Anos de Sucesso' to mark their anniversary.
The group's lineup has included Jairo Alencar on vocals, Antônio Nóbrega on bass, Cícero Caminhoneiro on accordion, Valdir Sousa on triangle, and Edinaldo dos Santos on zabumba. Their music works within the forró tradition from Brazil's northeast.
