Forró TheMusic is a Brazilian band led by vocalist and songwriter Márcia Fellipe. They come from Ceará in northeastern Brazil, where forró music has deep roots. Márcia Fellipe started performing at local festivals and parties, drawing inspiration from artists like Zezé di Camargo and Luciano.
In 2010, she released her debut album "Só Agora Eu Sei." The single "Malvada" from that album became a hit and helped bring the band national attention. They've since put out albums like "Forró do Piseiro" in 2011, "Então Vem Cá" in 2013, and "Eu Me Apaixonei" in 2015. Their song "Metiroso Coração" appears among their top tracks.
The band's lineup has included percussionist Lucas Piauhy, bassist Sílvio Horta, and accordionist Claudemir do Acordeon alongside Márcia Fellipe. They've worked with other Brazilian artists such as Wesley Safadão, Gusttavo Lima, and Jorge & Mateus. In 2017, Márcia Fellipe was injured in a car accident but returned to performing afterward.
