They started playing forró, the dance music from Brazil's northeast, but mixed in electronic beats and funk from the beginning. Their first album 'Forró é Amor' came out the next year.
Some of their songs like 'Chove e Não Molha' and 'Contato Corpo E Alma' became popular with their fans. They kept a steady lineup with João Neto, Júnior Lima, and bassist Marcelo. The band has worked with other Brazilian musicians including Seu Jorge and Gilberto Gil.
