Forro Vem Cum Nois

Forró Vem Cum Nois formed in Fortaleza, Ceará in 2004, a group of musicians drawn together by their connection to traditional forró rhythms. They built a following with energetic live shows, eventually recording their debut album 'Estrela Linda' which took their name from its title track.

That song 'Estrela Linda' became their calling card, a straightforward love song that resonated widely. It helped establish them as a recognizable presence in Brazil's regional music landscape during the mid-2000s.

They performed at major venues and occasionally shared stages with artists like Gilberto Gil and Ivete Sangalo. The band's core included vocalist Airton Pinheiro and bassist José Júnior, among others, maintaining a focus on the accordion-driven sound of northeastern forró.
