In 2008, their single "Ela-beliscando-ele" gained national attention in Brazil. The song's straightforward melody and lyrics about relationships connected with listeners. They followed it with albums like "Forró do Pegador" in 2009 and "O Bailão do Seave" in 2011.
Some of their material, including a song called "Sexo e Cachaça," drew criticism from conservative groups. In 2011, this led to performance bans in several cities. They continued releasing music, putting out "Forró com Raça" in 2013 and "Eu Sou Seave" in 2015.
