Forrozão Sela Rasgada started as a group of friends in Sergipe who played under the name Forró do Tico. Their big break came in 2016 with 'Filha Mais Nova do Patrão,' a song about a farmworker falling for the boss's daughter that caught on quickly across Brazil.
That hit led to national tours and live albums like 'Ao Vivo em São Paulo.' They've also worked with other Brazilian artists like Wesley Safadão and Xand Avião. Songs like 'Feitiço Matador' and 'Civilização' kept their sound in regular rotation on forró playlists.
In 2019, there was a legal dispute over who wrote 'Filha Mais Nova do Patrão,' but the court sided with the band. They kept releasing music through the early 2020s with albums like 'Vida de Vaqueiro' and 'Na Estrada.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
