Forrozão Tjshow formed in Fortaleza in 2004, started by brothers Tarcísio and Josias dos Santos. They were joined by vocalist Taty Girl and bassist Josael Silva. Their debut album 'Festa do Forró' came out the next year, and it included the song 'Amar Não É Pecado' which helped them find a wider audience.
They put out more albums like 'É o Forró Que Eu Gosto' in 2006 and 'Noite Quente' in 2007. In 2009, their label Som Livre filed a copyright lawsuit against them over melodies, though it was settled out of court.
Later on, their sound began to pull in more pop and sertanejo alongside the forró foundation. The 2019 album 'Tudo Vai Dar Certo' had them working with Ivete Sangalo and Wesley Safadão. The group has kept a steady lineup with Tarcísio on lead vocals, Josias on accordion, Taty Girl singing, and Josael Silva on bass.
