Fosforito

Fosforito formed in Granada during the mid-1990s, with Diego Cantero as their frontman. Their debut album 'Sin Miedos' came out in 1996, followed by 'El Cuervo y el Ángel' in 1998. The band's sound mixed rock with flamenco elements, and their lyrics often touched on religious themes and social issues, which drew some criticism at the time.

Their 2001 album 'Dios Me Dijo Pelea' gave them their most recognizable song, the title track. Other songs like 'Estoy Sonando mi Arpa' and 'Guerra Contra Esta Casa' show their style of blending driving rhythms with pointed lyrics. The lineup included Pedro Fernández on guitar, José Miguel Fernández on bass, and Carlos Conguita on drums alongside Cantero.

Fosforito's music found an audience among listeners who connected with its rebellious tone. They kept recording through the early 2000s, leaving behind a handful of albums that captured a particular moment in Spanish rock.
