Acquainted

I've never been to Hong Kong in mid-July,

I've never played croquet and I don't know why.

There are many things that I have yet to try.

Sometimes I feel like an open book,

Still there's places no one's ever dared to look.

If you find those pages will you read them all aloud?

I don't have the answers,

I don't have a clue.

I'm better off if I just wait on you.

I try to keep my balance,

Put my fears up on the shelf,

But I'm still not very well acquainted with myself.

Sometimes I'm scared to travel far from home

When I venture out into the great unknown,

But the truth is I know I am never all alone.

You're always by my side improving me,

Not a day goes by when you're not moving me.

You're the center of my every thought and my whole world.

I don't have the answers,

I don't have a clue.
