Frank e Ferrari was a Brazilian duo formed in the late 1990s by Frank Aguiar and Marcio Ferrari. Aguiar came from a background in forró, a traditional folk dance music, while Ferrari played guitar and sang. They worked together for about fifteen years.
Their debut album was called "Amor Quebrado," which also became the title of their most famous song. That track, along with others like "Boleira" and "Doença do Coração," dealt plainly with heartbreak and romantic trouble. The music mixed Aguiar's accordion with Ferrari's softer melodic approach.
They released several more albums with titles that continued exploring similar themes, love ending, betrayal, longing. The duo faced some accusations of plagiarism during their run, though they kept recording and performing. They stopped working together around 2014.
