Frank Wilson

Frank Wilson was born in Houston, Texas, in 1940. He sang in church choirs as a child and later joined Motown Records in Detroit during the mid-1960s. At Motown, he worked as a songwriter and producer, collaborating with artists like Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye.

In 1965, Wilson released "Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)" as a single. The song became an R&B hit, reaching number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. There were rumors that Motown had initially considered giving the song to Marvin Gaye instead.

Wilson's relationship with Motown was reportedly strained at times. He released several albums including "Easy" in 1966 and "Love Time" in 1967, but none matched the success of his debut single. He continued recording into the early 1970s with albums like "After the Storm."
